Nirali Naik is a self-taught documentary and travel photographer currently based in Mumbai, India. Nirali developed her interest in photography while still at university studying mass media, which soon turned into a profession. Heavily influenced by cinema and cinematography, her photographs explore vibrant colours, moods, and symmetry in quotidian life.
Her work has covered everything from food to portraits and travel. Her varying and collective experiences from documenting stories to educate teenage girls across rural India to travel across Western Europe creating content have helped hone her skills as a story-teller.
In a span of 6 years, Nirali has worked with various companies including Phantom Films, Forever 21, RailEurope, Kadak Craft Beers, RAW Pressery and is currently assisting on a Vikramaditya Motwane project with Amazon.
Nirali’s work has been selected to be on the cover of an upcoming issue of Docu Magazine. Her artwork can be purchased through curators and artist platforms like Art&Found.
